Research Studies

Invitation to participate in a study titled: "The development of care competencies for virtual mental health contexts"

Lead by Dr. Laura Sikstrom at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), a research study is being conducted to explore the development of care competencies for virtual mental health contexts. As a professional involved in virtual mental health care, your input is valuable in assisting us to understand which virtual care competencies can be applied to virtual mental health settings.

For this research study, they are conducting a two-hour workshop to gain your input on which virtual care competencies should be included in a virtual mental health care framework. The workshop will include a Pile-Sorting Technique, which will be reviewed on the day of the workshop. Due to the pandemic, this workshop will be delivered via Webex. Participation is completely voluntary, and your decision whether to participate will not impact your professional relationship with CAMH. You may also decide to withdraw from the research study prior to or during the workshop.

During the workshop, you will be within a group of other virtual mental health care stakeholders and people with lived experience of receiving virtual mental health care. If you are interested in participating, please let us know by emailing laura.sikstrom@camh.ca.
